We are trying something different for the Rock Oil Foliage Frenzy.  The plan for this event is to slow down, enjoy the ride and not “race.”  We want you to come to the Oil Region and experience the amazing Fall Foliage.  Thus here is the event format:

Just like the Roughneck we will start and finish at the Titusville Ironworks, with registration again on Friday night.  Start time for both distances will be 9:00 a.m.  Part of the reason we are doing this event is get you all to slow down, have fun on gravel, while enjoying the fall foliage.  The event will be run a “Poker Run Style.”  What is a Poker Run you ask?  Well this is a very traditional event by motorcycles and ATV's in the NWPA region.  

100KM Poker Run:  The route will be approximately 100km, riders will have 6 hours to complete the route from GUN time.  There will be 7 stops on your route, these will be marked and have water and other nutrition at them.  At each stop you will receive 1 random playing card.  You will be playing what is referred to as 7 card draw, this means you will play your best 5 of 7 cards to create your best possible 5 card poker hand.  

40 Mile Poker Run:  This route will be approximately 40 miles, riders will have 5 hours in which to complete this.  Riders of the 40 mile will pass through 5 stops and will be playing 5 card stud.  Your 5 cards are your poker hand.  

Tie Breakers Both Routes:  For all tie breakers if 2 riders end up with the same hand, we will play 1 hand of Black Jack 21 to determine the Winner.
