2023 Shawnee Fall Color DIY Ride powered by Kenda Tires

  • Shawnee State Park 4404 State Route 125, West Portsmouth, Ohio 45663 (map)

Join us for the 8th annual Shawnee Fall Color DIY Ride powered by Kenda Tires! Due to conflicting schedules we can’t organize this as a group event this year. That means you can hit any of the FOUR route options anytime during the month of October. Traditionally the fall colors peak later in the month but watch the fall foliage reports to time your ride.

OGG has four route options: 62, 45 (default route), 38 and 26 miles. Parking is available at the lower lodge lot located conveniently on SR 125. Alternate parking is at the next lot up on the left. (NOTE: The routes are NOT starting at the lodge, but unless you really, really like that climb back up at the end of the ride - then have at it!)

As a DIY ride this is unsupported. There is water at about mile 24 at camp 2 (will be on your left) and between miles 48/49 on the 63 mile route where the backpack trail crosses (will be on your left). Otherwise carry water, snacks and supplies that you think you will need for the route length.
