Recap: Flint Ridge - East Fultonham 40 Dirty Road Ride

2 cyclists. 40 miles. 4200 feet of climbing. We headed out on the Flint Ridge Gravel Roll 40 to revisit the route. Temps were in the upper 70’s to upper 80’s with a mix of sun and clouds during the ride.

When this route was first developed a number of roads south of I-70 were gravel, but over time they have been converted to chip and seal. The list of gravel roads we lost to pavement includes Workman, Cimarron, Lower Kroft, and Ridgely Road. Gravel content is now around 30% with a nice mix of gravel and quiet roads. The route has been extended south into East Fultonham for a supply stop at a small grocery story or Kisten’s Take Out for ice cream or sandwiches. Big menu!

Updated route below the photos.
