Recap: Rose Farm to Malta Gravel Explorer

Quick recap: 39 miles. 3800 feet of climbing. 9 cyclists. We parked at the church in Rose Farm. The humidity was gone and the sun was out, but it did get hot as the day went along. We also experienced headwinds on the return into Rose Farm. Gravel was dry and fast. There is a good mix of gravel and paved ridge top roads on this route and over 50% gravel. We saw some farm animals, including goats and a snake was moved off the road. Lunch in Malta at the waterfront. There is a Dari Whip and gas station in Malta for supplies. This route could be combined with the other Rose Farm route for a 70+ mile route.
