Recap
We parked at Tri-Valley Middle School in Dresden in the gravel lot. The ride starts by dropping down to the river and connecting to the path. This part can be confusing to connect with the path and the construction at the power towers didn’t help.
The route was dry and fast. Even the hike-a-bike section was almost rideable after grading. We had one slow speed spill on double track caused by a rut.
At mile 12.5 the road is now permanently blocked with a guardrail but we continued on and walked past a few campers on the old road.
We stopped in the shade for snacks and stopped at a store for cold drinks about 3/4 way through. At the end we stopped for photos at the Route 666 sign.
