  • 37.5 miles / 2950 ft climbing

  • Low 40’s to low 30’s

  • Overcast all day

  • Coffee & lunch outside at Birding Station at Jeffrey Point

We parked at the Big Muskie Bucket and Miners' Memorial Park. There are no services at the park in the winter and no services on the route. 9 cyclists total. We explored the area and ended with 37.5 miles and 2950+ feet of climbing. We had three flats on the ride. Two routes below to bypass seasonal gate closures at wildlife areas and campgrounds.

Temps started in the low 40’s and dropped to low 30’s with overcast skies for the whole ride. Gravel was dry in most areas with a few mushy sections. We had some barkers who ran out to the street and some who ran along and nipped. Owners were quit to yell for their animals.

We stopped at the Birding Station at Jeffrey Point to make coffee and eat lunch. The birding station has a shelter and overlooks The Wilds. No services at the station.
