Recap: Centerburg 42 Gravel Grinder

5 cyclists. 42 miles. 2100 feet of climbing. Overcast for most of the day. Temps in the 60’s with a consistent headwind for most of the ride. Gravel was dry and fast. Overall route has about half of our normal climbing per mile and the grades are not very steep. This is a great beginner gravel route. We stopped by the side of the road for snacks/lunch outside. We saw a lot of farm animals milling about and had a few runners. Toward the end of the route we encountered a large tree blocking the road and we helped move the downed branches off the road as they were cut.
