Recap: Kicked in the Conkles Gravel Grinder
10 cyclists. 37 miles. 2900 ft climbing. Temps in 60's to low 70's. Cloudy, but no rain. Carmel Rd was flowing enough today to make it fun. Pulled over for a group of overlanders coming down the hill. They gave us kudos for riding the road. Lunch and coffee outside at the church. Second gravel roads was sticky but not too bad. Also pulled over for ATV's and 4wheelers. Fall leaves color was great. Windy for a bit. Great day in the saddle.
