Recap: Blue Ridge Parkway Loop

Accidental group ride. 6 others were at start (Brown Mountain Beach) and ended up doing similar climb up Pineola. I rode with them for the first three miles until I dropped back because of pace. Climbed into the clouds on Pineola and across the Blue Ridge Parkway to Roseboro. Dropped down Roseboro back to Edgemont. Stopped at Betsey's Ole Country Store & Cabin Rental for a coke and said hi to Bruce who was sitting in his easy chair. Roads were soft so pedaled the whole time. 43 miles. 4850 ft climbing.
