ROJR (Ride On Jeremy's Ride)

  • 146 W South St Wooster, OH 44691 (map)

The 2019 ROJR (Ride On Jeremy’s Ride) is the last race/ride of the six event Ohio Gravel Race Series and will be held Saturday, Oct. 12. The ROJR offers a 100 and 60 mile loop, both can be done individually or in teams of 4. The 100 mile individual ride qualifies for the race series.

The ROJR 100 is a “gentleman’s race,” and spans three counties, Wayne, Holmes and Coshocton. About half of the ride is gravel with 10,000 feet of elevation. These counties offer some of the best gravel roads in the state and you will meander past scenic farms, through shady glens and into areas so dense and deserted you will be sure you took a wrong turn! Trust your GPS. There will be several “challenges” along the way for time bonuses. To finish this route, bring your A game and a steely resolve to see it through! Keep a close eye on the weather as well as we’ve seen sleet and 70’s for this event. October is uncertain if anything.

The ROJR 60 can also be done as an individual event or as part of a four person team. This is an “intro to gravel” route that will include less than 10 miles of gravel that can be completed on a road bike. It’s a great way to see if gravel is for you. This route is also scenic and meandering through Amish farms and country roads.
Both rides start at 8 a.m. from Ride On Wooster Bicycles, 146 W. South St. Breakfast, lunch and dinner (and some great swag) will be provided.
All profits benefit the Jeremy Grimm family. Grimm was a Cat I racer who lost his life in 2017 in a bicycle/truck accident. He left a wife and two daughters.
