Recap: Flint Ridge Gravel Grinder

6 cyclists. 33 miles. 3000 feet of climbing. Temps were in the 70’s at the start and were in mid 80’s when we finished. Headwinds kicked up throughout the ride and we had a tailwind toward the end. Gravel was dry and fast. Pavement was dry and hot. We stopped for water refills in Gratiot. Saw a lot of cows milling about in the fields. We experienced a couple of minor mechanicals. We had a new gravel rider and she enjoyed the ride. It’s great having new people join us for gravel grinders.
