19 cyclists total. Our group of five cyclists rode 42.5 mile route with 3600+ feet of climbing. Faster group out front rode whole route as well. Several cyclists cut the route short at Murray City and headed back into Nelsonville. Two riders from Dayton!

Temps started in the low 20’s and warmed up to almost 50 with sunny blue skies which we had for the whole ride. Our group stopped at the Marathon in Shawnee for lunch. There were lots of farm animals enjoying the day and we stopped to say hi to the horses. We did not hear any hunters and didn’t see any until later in the day as we waved to most as they were heading into the woods. We did see the two cyclists riding the San Toy route as they headed north toward New Lexington.
