After a mile into the ride the skies opened up and rained until we got back to Brown Mountain Beach Resort. We found the section at Betsey's Ole Country Store & Cabin Rental to be impassable and later the entrance to Wilson Creek area had 10 feet of water blocking off both ends of the road.
