10 cyclists. 6 in our group rode 42 miles with 3400+ ft climbing. Other group rode 54+. Temps were in 60’s at start and dropped to mid 40’s by the end. Sunny at start, overcast at end and headwind was spotty until the end when it pocked up. Saw lots of dogs, including Goobs, the Town of Shawnee celebrity dog, plus some frisky horses. Route should be renamed Tour de Furniture from all the trash seen along the route. Gravel was dry and fast with a lot of new scattered gravel. Lunch stop in Shawnee.
