Recap: Danville-Walhonding Gravel Grinder

5 cyclists. 40 miles. 3950 ft climbing. Gravel was soft at start and dried out as day heated up. Temps up into the 80's with high humidity. We encountered a gaggle of Boy Scouts who numbered in the 800-1000 range depending on who you asked. They were hiking and camping over the weekend. We stopped for #lunchoutside #coffeeoutside in a grove of trees overlooking a farm. Found the remnants of a deer. Tim was a casualty of the heat and needed to be picked up. Bridge of Dreams encounter with a man who had trouble controlling the volume of his voice.
